Must have passed the Plus Two examination or its equivalent.
What is the Physical Qualification For Police Constable
Must not be less than 168 cms in height and 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Minimum Height and chest measurement shall be 160 cm and 76 cm respectively for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities. The minimum chest expansion of 5 cm shall, however be applicable for them also.
Physique and Eye sight
Must be certified by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon as to his physique fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. The Medical Certificate has to be produced as and when called for.
Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses
Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes
Near vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes
